HR settings

Work week (Sunday off by default), holidays, sandwich leave, onboarding, plant sites, and payroll defaults.

Statutory deductions

Company defaults for payroll. Small companies that are not under PF or ESI yet should turn those Off. A person can still override this on their employee record.

Pay structure

When HR enters Gross, Basic is filled at this percent. They can type over Basic.

Field allowance

Daily rates for Field staff. Paid on a separate run (typically 20th–25th) for the same closed month as salary. Not included in PF / ESI / PT. Expense claims stay for extra receipts. A person can override these on their Pay tab.

Pay windows (next month after the attendance month)

Used on the Accounting payment calendar. Salary typically 1–8; field allowance 20–25.

Save with the payroll settings button above.

Weekly offs

Sunday is the paid weekly off unless you add more days. Field / Office / Plant can differ. Saturday is a working day unless you mark it off.
